TESTIMONIALS
on throwing a party
I worked with Dave and the Ora et Labora to plan a surprise birthday celebration in their event space. I could not be happier with how the event turned out! Dave and team were super attentive to our needs and were in constant communication through before and during the party. The truly amazing thing was that Dave created a wine selection for the event based on some of the wines that I know my wife drinks and was not put off by my lack of wine knowledge. The event space was perfect and was a great size for the party. I can't say enough of the Ora et Labora team... they are super welcoming, knowledgeable and serve great wine! Cheers!

on getting marriED
We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding day at Ora et Labora perfect. From the beautifully curated wine selections to the incredible hosts and exceptional team, everything was flawlessly executed with warmth and care. David and Sarah are amazing people and wonderful hosts—Noelle and I highly recommend them for any occasion, knowing they’ll exceed expectations. We’ll cherish the memories of that unforgettable day forever.

on hosting a corporate off-site
I've been to several events at Ora et Labora - my favorite neighborhood wine bar - and have always been impressed by the ambiance, selection of wines, and most importantly, the warmth and knowledge of Dave and crew.
A year or so ago I decided to host a company offsite at OEL, knowing it would be the perfect space for a group of 15 executives convening from across the globe to debrief a week of business planning sessions and workshops.
Dave was incredibly helpful in partnering with us on designing a great wine tasting experience for a diverse set of palates. This was especially impactful as an informal, warm setting, which allowed us to talk very openly about various issues affecting our wider teams and how to work together to resolve them.
Can't recommend Ora et Labora enough, for a glass of wine, for good company/vibes, or for your next event. Definitely a gem of a place!

on EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
“I have attended many of Dave’s wine classes at Ora et Labora. I’m new to the subtleties of wine and the classes he offers have opened my eyes, and tasted buds, to the complexities of wine--not just the enjoyment of drinking it, but also to the history of various vineyards, and the soil and growing conditions it takes to make a good vintage. The wine selections never disappoint and I always come home with at least one or two bottles.”

As a wine enthusiast and someone who is beginning to explore WSET certification in wine, I’ve been attending the classes at Ora et Labora for the last year and not only have they given me a strong foundation in learning about different wine regions, wine types and even food and wine pairing, they’re fun and the presenters and participants are always friendly and encouraging. Plus, the space is beautiful and the wine is always delicious!
If you haven’t been to Ora yet for a glass or attended a class yet, I strongly encourage you to do so.
